I’m a Postgres DBA working with digital elephants since 2012 and version 8.4. I was involved in different kinds of projects, most of them related to geospatial data and processing them with PostGIS extension.
I’m particularily interested in query optimization, performance, big-ish data storage and analysis, and playing with the new shiny improvements in newest Postgres releases.
Also, I like to share my knowledge to others and advocate Postgres as a go-to database for any kind of workload.
While I’m not in the office, you’ll most likely find me in a garden or cruising the lakes and rivers with a packraft.
